Become a member of the Van Zandt County Genealogical Society beginning in 2024, (or renew your existing membership for 2024. Annual membership is by calendar year. The new dues rate is $25 Individual/$30 Family, because of increased printing costs from our newsletter. We appreciate your understanding.
Members get our award-winning quarterly magazine, Our Heritage, as well as reduced admission prices to our seminars.
The Society was formed in 1980 and continues to serve the community and all genealogists (many from outside the county, some from outside the U.S.) with their family research questions. We meet on the fourth Saturday of every month, January through November, with a genealogy-related speaker at each meeting. (Meetings are free and open to the public, so you don't have to be a member to attend meetings.)
There are 2 types of membership. Be sure to specify which membership level you prefer:
Individual: $25.00 per year (as of January 2024)
Family: $30.00 per year (as of January 2024)
